My Creative Scrapbook April Reveal Part 1

Finally, i am sharing with you the wonderful April kits from My Creative Scrapbook and some of the projects i created with the beautiful Limited Edition kit full of Prima goodies, among other great products.  Make sure you visit My Creative Scrapbook to find out more about their kits and to see the gallery which features all the DT and GDT's awesome projects.

As you may have guessed, i was thrilled when i opened my box and found all these delicious Prima (Divine collection), Basic Grey (brads) and Webster's Pages (resin accents) goodies.  It was such a pleasure to create with this kit as it fell into my shabby chic style perfectly.

B'Day Girls
My niece Ella and her Nanny share the same birthday week and they always have a little celebration together which makes it all the more special.  This pic was taken last year for Ella's 7th birthday.
 A bit later on this month, i will be sharing with you, on here and on the MCS blog, 3 quick tutorials on how i created some of the flowers i used on these layouts, including the large pink one seen above.






Hello Kitty
While working with so much Prima products, i decided to play along with one of their challenges and used their March BAP sketch as inspiration:
 I am sure you have all seen one of the new scrapbooking trends on all the crafty blogs that you visit:  PIE CHARTS!  Well, i wanted to check it out for myself and i had fun creating some for this layout.  Keep visiting for a tutorial sometime this month!


 I couldn't resist using that title for this layout! :)
